“Beyond Borders and Boundaries” Conference- Brussels 27-28.05.2024

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the successful Erasmus Mundus – the pioneer initiative leading to the joint delivery of higher education Masters programmes in cooperation with international partners, and aimed at attracting in Europe top talents from around the world.

On 27-28 May, We are attending the ‘Beyond Borders and Boundaries’ conference in Brussels as the MERGED programme coordinator. Students, alumni, higher education institutions, policymakers, and stakeholders are coming together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Mundus programme and reflect on its future. The Erasmus Mundus programme has increased global educational exchange and cooperation in Europe. Launched in 2004 as a stand-alone programme, it is now an integral part of the international dimension of Erasmus+, enhancing the attractiveness of European higher education and attracting talent from around the world to Europe.

We are experiencing this at MERGED!

To celebrate the anniversary, I encourage you to read the results of the study ’20 Years of Erasmus Mundus,’ which highlights the transformative impact of the programme on individuals, higher education institutions, and countries in the European Union and beyond. The study provides a historical overview of the programme’s evolution and a detailed analysis of its broad impact.
