The Milan edition of MERGEDNext 2026, the annual stakeholder engagement and professional networking event of the MERGED International Master’s Programme in Global Environment and Development, will take place on 13 November 2026.
The event will bring together the Milan-track MERGED students and professionals from a wide range of organisations, including global institutions, research institutes, environmental NGOs and innovative private companies. The aim is to create opportunities for students to connect their academic experience with the professional world and explore possible career paths in the environmental and agri-food sectors.
A bridge between academic training and professional opportunities
MERGEDNext is an opportunity for students to learn more about emerging career opportunities in areas such as sustainable agriculture, climate resilience and environmental governance. The event will also provide insights into real-world internship and applied research opportunities.
A key part of the event will be the opportunity to discuss and develop potential Master’s thesis projects with prospective employers and partner organisations, helping students connect their academic work with current challenges and professional needs.
